Water: One of the Keys to Optimizing Your Health
The human body is amazing. Just by treating and feeding it better, it works better.

When you eat right, exercise regularly, sleep sufficiently, and hydrate properly, you give your body the opportunity to work its best. And when you do any of these four items better-such as making healthier food choices (like fresh fruits and vegetables) or having an exercise routine customized to your specific needs-your body will undoubtedly gain additional benefits.

The same holds true with hydration. Drink a higher-quality water (i.e., cleaner), and you give your body the opportunity to run more efficiently-just like a car's engine functions more efficiently with clean oil.

Water: Essential for Life
To put in perspective the importance of choosing the cleanest, highest-quality water you can find, consider your body's composition. It's approximately 65% water. You can survive about a month without food, but only five to seven days without water. Nearly every chemical process in the body is dependent upon water. The water you drink could be the most important part of your health.

Many trends, as well as the results in our studies below, demonstrate why cleaner water is healthier. This conclusion is further supported by numerous additional research projects performed throughout the world.

Our research and studies regarding Penta water are ongoing, and more information about these studies and others will be published as they become available.

Physical Performance Increases
Athletes participated in this performance study conducted by Professor Donald MacLaren at Liverpool John Moores University in England. The study explored the effect of drinking Penta water as compared to another bottled water on athletic performance. Those who hydrated with Penta water showed a 2-7% increase in performance.

Leaves Stomach Faster

In a gastric emptying study conducted by Professor Donald MacLaren at Liverpool John Moores University in England, Penta water was compared with another bottled water. The purpose of this study was to identify why people do not experience a sloshing effect after drinking Penta. The gastric contents of study volunteers were emptied 10 minutes after ingesting one bottle of either Penta or another bottled water and the volumes compared. Penta water was shown to leave the stomach 6 milliliters (or 0.2 fluid ounces) per minute faster than the other water.

Faster Hydration
In a hydration study conducted by Professor Donald MacLaren at Liverpool John Moores University in England, participants in this study were exercised until they reached clinical dehydration (a 2% drop in blood plasma volume). After rehydrating with Penta water and another bottled water, a blood plasma analysis was conducted. Penta was shown to hydrate 16.7 times faster than the other bottled water.

Faster Nerve Firing, Increased Muscle Power
In a study conducted by Dr. Joanne Bowetell at Northbank University in London, participants drank Penta and another bottled water before cycling. Those who drank Penta exhibited faster nerve firing and increased recruitment of muscle mass (i.e., more power output from the muscles working).

Carbohydrates Slow Hydration Process
This study, conducted at the Gatorade Exercise Physiology Laboratory in Barrington, Ill., was published in the International journal of Sport Nutrition (1999, 9, 263-274). The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of repeated ingestion of drinks containing varying concentrations of carbohydrate on gastric emptying rate during steady-state exercise. These data indicate that repeated ingestion of a carbohydrate beverage during exercise significantly reduces gastric emptying rate. In addition, this study refers to another study that found "beverages containing 5% carbohydrate empty from the stomach more slowly than water…"

Main Ingredient in Kidney Stones Dissolved Faster (in vitro)
A peer-reviewed study published in Journal of Crystal Growth (Vol. 261, N4, pp 539-548, 2003, and reprinted in Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials Vol. 6, No. 1, march 2004, p. 261-268) showed that Penta water dissolved one of the main ingredients in many kidney stones (calcium oxalate monohydrate) three times faster than lab distilled water.

Increased Cell Survivability (in vitro)
Drinking Penta contributes to a clean, healthy environment for which cells (and body) can function efficiently and properly. In-vitro studies show that Penta water increases cell survivability by 266%.

Reduces Risk of Chromosomal Mutation (in vitro)
In-vitro studies on human cells reveal that DNA chromosomal mutation rates were 271% greater in lab distilled water than Penta water.
